With over 20 years in the entertainment business, Niska Napoleon has become a force. Headlining multiple cross Canada tours, selling out shows and managing her own businesses drove her to create "Rockstar Kids". Firmly believing that you need to practice what you preach, Niska continues to make a name for herself in the music business, releasing music, playing shows and planning her next tour.
Her upbeat pop-reggae single, "On My Way Again” reached #1 on The Indigenous Music Countdown(Feb.23rd, 2019) and sets the tone for her long awaited debut album. As a solo artist, Napoleon has already established a career in the music business, commanding stages since before she was tall enough to reach the mic stand.
With three cross-Canada headlining tours under her belt, music featured on APTN television shows such as “The New Canoe", "The Mix,” “Mohawk Girls,” “My TV,” and “Moosemeat & Marmalade”, she continues to make a name for herself. In 2014, she made the list of CBC's "9 Canadian Musicians You Need To Know" and earned herself a theme music composer credit for "Moosemeat & Marmalade".
Niska Napoleon’s bloodline consists of healers, chiefs and Indigenous leaders. Armed with a given name meant for the stars, she breeds music from the soul of Mother Earth, which she is committed to protecting using music as her weapon.
